【AirGo- Black bean asparagus】

A delicious and very healthy dish. I use AirGo’s “Air Fryer” function to make this dish, pretty good results. To purchase go to: AirGo cooker, with a coupon of maomao25 for $25 off.

Level: low
Serves: 4 servings
Ingredients:
1) 500g asparagus (thick ones are the best)
2) 3 Shallots (140g);
3) 1 tbsp avocado oil or other cooking oil, 1 tbsp black bean sauce;
4) 1/6 tsp black ground pepper, 1/4 tsp salt (optional if black bean sauce is salty), 1 table premium soysauce, 1/6 tsp chicken broth mix;
5) 1tsp sesame oil.
Directions:
1: Remove skin of shallots (Picture 1), rinse with cold water, then chop into small pieces (Picture 2). Peel of the skin of asparagus (Picture 3) and remove roots, rinse and cut each into 1 inch long pieces (Picture 4).
2: Plugin the 【AirGo】cooker, use “Function” to select the “Air Fryer” program, set temperature to 415F and time to 6 min. press “start” to initiate the program. Open the lid, add 1 tbsp oil, chopped shallots, and black bean sauce (picture 5), then close the lid.

3: After cooking about 1-2 minutes, open the lid, stir to mix (picture 6). Add asparagus, salt and black pepper, stir to mix (Picture 7), cover with the lid and let the program continue.
4: When only 2 min cooking time left (or upon when beeping), open the lid, add 1 tbsp premium soy sauce and chicken broth mix, stir a few time (picture 8), close the lid and let the program to finish.
5: When the program ends, open the lid, add 1 tsp sesame oil and stir to mix. Transfer cooked asparagus to a serving plate and serve warm with steamed rice.
