【Braised Pork Ribs with Bamboo Shoot】

Chinese people love bamboo as well. Bamboo shoots have always been a popular ingredient in many Chinese dishes. This is a very tasty dish, you can try it at home.

Stand time: 36-48 hours
Serves: 8 servings
Ingredients:
1) 1250g baby back ribs;
2) 250g salty bamboo tips;
3) 1.5 tbsp avocado oil or other cooking oil, 1 green onion root removed, washed and chopped into 1 in pieces, 5 g ginger sliced;
4) 3 tbsp premium soy sauce, 3 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp premium soy sauce, 1 tbsp dark soy sauce, 1/4 tsp salt, 1.5 tbsp sugar, 2 cups water;
5) 1/2tsp sesame oil .
Directions:
1: Ahead of time, soak bamboo tips in cold water for 36-48 hours, replace with clean cold water 2-3 times during this period, then rinse and drain set aside (Picture 1). Remove membrane from the back of the ribs, wash, drain and cut into small pieces between bones.
2: Heat 1.5 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick pot over medium-high heat, sauté chopped green onion and sliced ginger (Picture 2) for 30 seconds and then add pork ribs (Picture 2), stir and cook for 3-4 minutes until all water evaporates.

3: Add all ingredients of Ingredient 4) (Picture 4), cover with the lid and bring to boil. Reduce to low heat, simmer for 30 minutes. Add bamboo tips (Picture 5), cover with the lid continue cook for another 50 minutes, stir occasionally.
4: Increase to medium-high heat to reduce the sauce until thick and add ½ tsp sesame oil, mix well. Transfer to a serving bowl and serve with some steamed rice.
