【Braised potatoes in Soybean Paste】

You should try this all vegetable dish, amazingly good.

Serves: 3 servings

Ingredients:
1) 12 small potatoes (320g);
2) 1 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp freshly chopped green onion, 2-3 slices of ginger, 1 tbsp chili bean paste;
3) 1/2 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp premium soy sauce, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 tsp chicken broth mix;
4) 1/2 tsp sesame oil, ½ tsp dark vinegar.

Directions:

1: Peel off potato skin (Picture 1), rinse and pat dry with a paper towel. (You can leave the skin on if you prefer). Cut into think slices (Picture 2).
2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a non-stick sauté pan over medium-high heat, sauté chopped green onion, sliced ginger and chilli bean paste for 30 seconds (Picture 3). Then add sliced potatoes, stir and cook for 1 minute (Picture 4).

3: Add all ingredients of Ingredient 3) and bring to a boil, cover with lid and simmer for a few minutes at medium-low heat (Picture 5), stir occasionally.
4: Remove the lid and continue cook on medium-high heat until the sauce is reduced down to about 1 tablespoon (Picture 6). Add 1/2 tsp sesame oil and ½ tsp dark vinegar, stir to mix. Transfer to a serving plate and serve immediately.

    Thanks for your write-up on this blog site. From my own experience, occasionally softening right up a photograph might provide the photo shooter with a chunk of an imaginative flare. Oftentimes however, the soft blur isn’t just what you had under consideration and can quite often spoil an otherwise good photo, especially if you anticipate enlarging the item.

    I have noticed that in old digital cameras, special devices help to {focus|concentrate|maintain focus|target|a**** automatically. The sensors connected with some cameras change in contrast, while others employ a beam of infra-red (IR) light, particularly in low lighting. Higher spec cameras sometimes use a mix of both techniques and may have Face Priority AF where the dslr camera can ‘See’ some sort of face while focusing only in that.
