毛毛妈于80年代后期留学加拿大，现定居于加拿大的渥太华市，从事化学方面的研究工作，有个儿子毛毛。毛毛妈喜欢自己动手做家常菜，让亲人们享受到温馨的家庭生活。这里特别要提一提的是，毛毛爸对我的手艺从来不吝赞美。在他不断的鼓励下，我的厨艺渐渐长进，和朋友聚餐时，做几样小菜都能受到夸奖。毛毛小时候吃中餐很挑剔，一周内的主食不能重样，好在我对做饭很感兴趣，愿意花时间研究菜谱。每次看到儿子与老公吃的那么开心，让我下厨做美食的动力满满。
2006年我登录北美最大的华人网文学城的【私房小菜】论坛，先是潜水灌水，后来自己试着做博客，起名就叫【毛毛妈厨房】 ，受到网友们的热切青睐，我的文学城博客网页的点击已超过1千8百万。由于国内的亲人朋友看不到文学城的网页，所以就新开了这个毛毛妈厨房（http://maomaomom.ca）网站。
毛毛妈厨房里的菜都是毛毛妈亲手实践做出之后，重写的方子与做法，拍的照片，与大家分享。原菜的方子来源太广，大多都是从菜谱书、网上收来的。只有著名是原创的，才是毛毛妈自己完全想出来的。
希望通过毛毛妈厨房这个网络渠道，让来访的朋友们能畅所欲言，交流厨艺。请不要将毛毛妈厨房的图片及菜谱粘贴到其他网站，也不允许将本网站的图片及菜谱做成微信帖子或其他形式发表！ 谢谢合作。

I am viewing your site in English. Have you by now rranslated all the recipes into English, or are there some in Chinese which are still only in Chinese?
Also what would we find or see in your WeChat group? I have WeChat for my Chinese friends for golf…. Mainly. But i understand it is a super app, combining many features from multiple social media apps…
